Any person wishing to stand for election to the Parish Council will need to file Nomination Papers with Cornwall Council. They must be delivered BY HAND, not by post, at:

(i) Cornwall Council, Council Suite,  St Austell Information Service, 39 Penwinnick Road, St Austell, PL25 5DR on 23rd, 24th, 25th, 30th, 31st March, 1st, 6th April ( 9am-1pm and 2-5pm ) or on 8th April  ( 9am-1pm and 2-4pm ); or at

(ii) Cornwall Council, Main Reception, Luxstowe House, Greenbank Road, Liskeard on 26th, 27th, 29th March or 7th April ( 9am-1pm and 2-5pm, except on the 27th 9am-1pm and 2-4pm ).

The last day to register as an elector for these elections is  midnight on Monday 19th April 2021.

There are also deadlines in relation to new  applications for postal votes and changes to proxy votes or postal votes ( 5pm 20th April ) and new proxy vote applications ( 5pm 27th April )..

The Clerk to Quethiock Parish Council has a stock of candidate packs – any person wishing to stand as a Parish Councillor is asked to contact the Clerk ( tel 01579 342053 or clerk@quethiockparishcouncil.gov.uk ) as soon as possible to obtain one.

Please bear in mind the 8th April deadline – do not delay until the last minute.
